In 1987, Randy Iacone decided to open his own contracting company with one goal in mind “provide quality craftsmanship and exceptional service” to homeowners in Northern Virginia. Determination and dedication has enabled him to build an award winning reputation over the past 23 years in the DC Metro area.

 

Today Advanced Contracting Inc. is a family owned and operated residential building and remodeling firm located in Loudoun County. We offer architectural design, construction management, strong communication skills and 23 years of experience in the remodeling and building industry.

 

Randy earned his Certified Remodeler and Certified Kitchen & Bath Remodeler designations through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). These certification programs are the association’s method of recognizing those individual contractors who have met specific criteria of experience, commitment to the ethical conduct and professionalism. Certification provides special recognition to those who, by fulfilling the prescribed requirements of performance and conduct, have demonstrated a high level of competency and ethical standards in the remodeling industry.

 

In 2010 Randy also received his “Green” Certification through NARI and his “Certified Renovator” through the United States Environmental Protective Agency. We believe in “Green” remodeling wherever possible and offer green products and practices in our remodel projects. Both Randy and our firm are Lead Certified. The new Federal law requires contractors who are working on homes built before 1978 acquire a “Lead Certification”.

We believe it is important to stay current in our industry. ACI is an active member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. Randy instructed the Certified Lead Carpenter Courses for the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) in 2004. Randy continues his education through the association each year by attending various seminars, webinars, meetings and contractor college courses.

 

Patricia Iacone joined the firm in 1997. She brings her strong communication and organizational skills to the firm. When you call our office, Patricia will be there to greet you. She offers a telephone consultation which gathers enough information to schedule an in home consultation with Randy. She is always eager to answer any questions you may have. She will be happy to provide client references for you to call, prior your consultation. With 13 years in the remodeling industry Patricia is able to keep all our building and remodel projects organized and on schedule.

 

As a member of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, (NARI) DC Chapter,  she serves as the “Referral Coordinator” for consumers who are seeking a qualified contractor.  And recently,  she joined the “Consumer Awareness” Committee for NARI. 

 

She also brings our equestrian division “Home, Horse and Hound” to the firm. Her personal relationships in the equine industry and experience in farm planning has enabled us to open our new division to homeowners in Loudoun, Fauquier and Clarke counties. Home, Horse and Hound offers numerous services. We firmly believe that planning is everything! It is costly to make a mistake. We offer first class planning and design for raw land as well as existing developed lots. Whether you are planning a large equestrian facility or a small backyard barn choosing an experienced estate designer is key to achieving optimal results.
